Corporate Central Credit Union Leverages the Cloud for Industry-Leading Business Resiliency

Emergifi has spearheaded Corporate Central Credit Union’s digital transformation and cloud migration initiatives, building business operations resiliency for the organization and its members.

A primary goal of their digital transformation and cloud migration initiative is business resiliency with absolutely no member service interruption during common business disruptions. The "anywhere, anytime, any device" practice is in full effect at Corporate Central providing members resilient, efficient and flexible service.

Corporate Central Credit Union recently conducted a business continuity test to ensure consistent delivery of high quality member service in the face of business disruptions. The test simulated a major snowstorm that prevented employees from traveling to the organization’s primary or backup location. Testing results proved business systems were resilient to business disruption. All member needs were handled securely and seamlessly using cloud-based communications and technology.

During the mock snowstorm, the entire organization conducted business from home. Staff used innovative technology solutions—facilitated by Corporate Central’s technology CUSO, Emergifi—to continuously deliver member services including cash, ACH, investments, funds transfer, lending, safekeeping, item processing and wire services throughout the disruption event. Cloud-based communications, applications and security systems successfully eliminated physical location restrictions.
